By using lots of gorgeous wood, twigs, feathers and twine you really can set the mood for a rustic country wedding. Wood slices are still very popular and can be used as place names, to stand table decorations on (as well as the wedding cake) or table number holders.

Instead of holding your reception at the local hotel why not investigate local barns or village halls? Once you have secured your rustic venue see if you can source some wooden trestle tables,
mis-matched chairs and strings of fairy lights and bunting.

Fresh Foliage

Using lots of beautiful greenery and flowers will instantly give a country feel to your celebrations.  Adding twine and raffia will also add to the rustic theme.  We love woodland plants such as ferns, mosses and Hellabores. The less formal the arrangement the better and perhaps arranged in milk churns, galvanised buckets or glass jars.
