Hello All
Today I'm really excited to tell you 2 lots of news! The first news is we have launched our first print-at-home stationery range on our website. The stationery range has been designed for DIY bride and grooms on a budget who are looking to save pounds off your stationery.
The Old Country Rose design is the first range available that can be printed at home. All you need to do is choose the stationery items you require from or website, if it's a design that needs us to personalise, then email us your wording at the time of ordering, (after the all important proofing service) we then email you the pdf to print at home with cream or brown card and envelopes which are part of the DIY kit available our our website.

We particularly love the Old Country Rose Square Invitations, with matching information and rsvp cards. Shown here with one of our brown kraft square pocketfold wallets.

The 2nd lot of exciting news is we have also launched our DIY stationery video tutorials. After several attempts (and plenty of bloops!), we have made a video showing you just how easy you can DIY your wedding stationery using the Old Country Rose Collection.

The video can be viewed by clicking on the screen here:

For a plain but classical look, you can choose the Old Country Rose printed belly band, and purchase the save the date from the In Love Collection, which is also on the website by clicking here.

Here we have added an Old Country Rose envelope liner and a little rustic twine to complete the look.

Pocketfold Wallet with lace Tutorial

Pocketfold Wallet With
Wide Lace Tutorial

Hi Everyone!

We have had masses of enquiries asking how to decorate our popular pocketfold wallets, and therefore this little tutorial is for you all x

Our square pocketfold wallets come flat, unassembled and ready to decorate. They are really popular at the moment when decorated with white wide lace, burlap and little tags.

Our pocketfold wallets are pre creased and flat, so in order to assemble, follow these simple steps:

Fold the two little flaps in and rub over the crease lines to fold. You need to add thin strips of double sided tape on the top part of the flap ( not on the bottom otherwise your 'pocket' won't stick to the rest of the wallet!).

Lift and press to adhere like this:

That's your wallet made, now it's time to decorate, please pay close attention to the next steps to get the result looking really good!

Add a thin layer of double sided tape all round the front and the back of the wallet, this will help keep the lace in place, and prevent it from sliding up and down the wallet. We recommend our stix 2 double sided tape pens for all card assembling and not glue, most glues are too runny and may crinkle or ripple the card!

Cut a strip of wide lace, we used our Rose wide lace, available from our shop. Try and cut the lace so it meets at the back, it doesn't have to look great, or be cut straight, you will find out why shortly...

Check the front of the wallet to make sure the ribbon is central on the card fold and straight!

Do the same process again by adding double sided tape on top of the wide lace, try and make sure when adding the burlap ribbon, it is central with the wide ribbon.

Third layer, repeat steps 1 and 2 with thin white satin ribbon.

Here's the bit to really pay attention to...  When you have added all the ribbon, burlap and lace, it all looks messy doesn't it? Even though it's the back of the front flap, people will still see it when they open the wallet. If you cut a piece of brown kraft card that measures 145mm x 145mm, and add some more double sided tape to the back of the card piece, all round the sides and a bit in the middle, and place it on top of the messy ribbon, it will hide all those ugly pieces of cut ribbon.

If you don't feel comfortable cutting the card, simply purchase our pocketfold insert cards, they're the exact size needed for the actual invite, etc. You can buy them from us blank or printed with your wedding details - the choice is yours.

We tied a little bow and added to the front of the wallet, and added one of our rectangular personalised tags to complete.

Simply Beautiful !

Wedding Cheque Book Invitations

Wedding Cheque Book Invitations

So many of my customers purchase wedding cheque book style invitations from my website www.razzledazzlerose.co.uk, and have no idea how to print on them. Here we show you how to create these simple, but stunning cheque books style invitations for your wedding.

The cheque book kits come with:

275gm Blank Brown kraft card front and back cover
3 x 100gsm Blank kraft paper insert sheets
Matching Brown Kraft 120gsm DL Envelopes

The covers and inserts are pre drilled, and creased to the left hand side.
The kits are available in packs of 25 cheque books.

Each cheque book ‘sheet’ comes pre-drilled, and creased, with a front and back cover and three insert sheets that can all be easily printed from your home printer.

Firstly, using Microsoft word, you need to choose the paper size to print directly onto the sheets. Choose page layout, size, from the drop down menu choose DL long edge, this will change your page size to the correct size required to print onto your cover and inserts correctly.

From the tabs at the top of the screen, choose home, then insert tab, then add text box, choose text direction tab, then rotate the text by 90 degrees so the text direction is in line with the DL size you want to print on.

You can add your designs, or artwork, and add your chosen wording. Remember to leave at least a 20mm gap at the left hand side when typing for the creasing and the drill holes.

Repeat this process for your insert sheets adding the details of your wedding date, time and location, the remaining sheet can be a rsvp to your guests etc.

You need to then alter your printer tray to fit the card and insert sheets like this:

There is usually a DL indicated or Envelope indicator printed on the paper tray. Move the tabs at the side so the card cover fits. Print on the reverse side of the card with the two holes nearest to you.  Repeat the process for the insert sheets.

Once the card cover and the inserts have been printed you need to then attach them together. With your ribbon, cut both ends of the ribbon to angles – this make threading the ribbon through the holes a little easier.  Start from the back, you should have a plain back cover, three insert sheets and a front cover.

Once both ribbons are pulled through to the front, tie into a bow to complete your wedding cheque book invitations.

And there you have it, your beautiful cheque book wedding invitations.
